Wish List

The Humane Society of Harrisburg Area relies solely on donations of supplies and funding from the community to carry out our mission.  Our wish list contains the items that we always need.  While many of the items on our list appear very practical (i.e. copy paper, brooms, paper towels), they are nonetheless essential items to ensure the best care for our animals.  Additionally, purchase an item from the wish list at the Petango Store (link above), and HSHA will receive a 10% cash back donation!

Canned Pet food (Please note: HSHA participates in the Hill's/Science Diet Shelter Feeding Program.  Thus, all DRY food that is donated will be placed in our Pet Food Bank for other needy pets in our community.)

Radiograph X-Ray processor (Primitive type with dipping vats, etc. is acceptable)
Syringes (Tuberculin, 1cc,  3cc , 5cc, 12cc with or without 22 gauge needles)
Clavamox (62.5, 125, & 250mg) and Clavamox drops
Doxycycline (100mg tabs/capsules)
X-Ray machine (including plates, film, etc.)
Ceiling/wall mounted surgical light
Surgical head light (straps onto forehead)
Rubber comfort mats for surgical areas
Rat-toothed thumb forceps
New (or slightly used) endotracheal tubes (6 - 9.5 Fr.)
Feeding tubes (for puppies, kittens, and cats)
Sterile surgical gloves (size 6.5)
Large & medium latex, nitrile, or vinyl exam gloves (non-sterile)
Surgical or exam table (adjustable or non-adjustable)
Sharps containers
Contractor size garbage bags
Clippers and extra clipper blades (blade size 40 or 50 and 4F)
Triple antibiotic ointment (ophthalmic & dermal)
