Jacinta

An update on Jacinta from Megan Glass, Kennel Manager:

Jacinta is a chocolate lab, retriever mix. At the age of three years old she was brought into our shelter as a stray. She waited patiently for six months until her FURever family found her at HSHA. A recent phone call to check on Jacinta's progress and transition into her new home was riddled with happy tails. Jacinta's dad, said that she is now sitting before crossing the street and goes for two walks a day. She had a good check up at the vet and was a perfect lady while receiving blood work. Jacinta found true love with a doodle that lives across the street. There have been times where she has shown fearful behaviors, but Jacinta's new mom and dad are helping to build confidence. Her new dad said, "Jacinta is so PERFECT!"

There's no doubt Jacinta's difficult journey to the shelter and the six month wait led her to this perfect new family. It's definitely a great match!

I had a smile on my face listening to her dad tell me about all of the progress she has made. I hope reading this does the same for you.
