Jasper Jones

Jasper Jones arrived at the shelter after once having a family of his own. While the story of abandonment isn't quite understood he arrived at the shelter with the chance for a new beginning. After waiting four long months his FURever family found and fell in love with this sweet, handsome, and playful boy. Only after a few weeks in his new home, his family decided to provide HSHA with an update. Please read about his new life below:

"Jasper Jones was adopted into our family on December 2, 2017. This cat is amazing with our family and you would never know that he just came home with us. He has acclimated well with the family and our other cat Squid. He is so friendly and brave. Nothing scares him. He is also very playful, and sweet. He will run around like a nut but then settle next to you and either sleep on your lap or give you a quick kiss before he leaps away to play with a toy. WE LOVE HIM so much J  Thank you!"

How Can I Help Homeless Animals in My Community Today?

Currently our greatest need is canned food for both dogs and cats! Our cats prefer pate but the pups aren't picky! In addition, we could use some Clorox Wipes to help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for all the sheter's residents.

Check out HSHA's Amazon Wish List for more specific needs.

We have several dogs and cats that are looking for a foster home.  If you think you may be able to help, please visit our Fosters Needed page.
