Recently, adopter Chantel Maffettone wrote in to provide an update on Rudolph.

"He's doing great! We go to the bark park a few times a week, and he gets along with every person and every dog he meets there. My fiance and I initially agreed that Ru wouldn't be allowed on the furniture, but that didn't last long! He snuggles with us every night when we watch tv, and though he doesn't start out on our bed at night, he's there when I wake up every morning. His manners are getting better every day, and he knows multiple commands, though he still has a stubborn streak now and again. He knows sit, lay, belly, stay, wait, come, watch, leave it, drop it, kiss, paw, other paw, both paws, heel, and his favorite: NO! He LOVES to be outside, especially to sun bathe. He gets along great with children and babies; he is surprisingly gentle with them for how energetic he is. He's awfully spoiled now, too. He has three beds(not including the people furniture he sleeps on), more blankets than I have, toys everywhere, and SO many treats. He still has some separation anxiety, but he likes the security of his crate when we are not home. He does not like to be alone and we love his company. He is a perfect fit for our family and  I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet him and all of his friends during my time volunteering at Humane Society."
