Wishes (Priscilla)

Hello, My son and I adopted Wishes in October 2013. We changed her name to Priscilla, and we spent lots of quality time with her. She is the most perfect choice we could have possibly made! She is gentle, loving, smart, clean, playful and just everything we wanted in a kitten. She has been a lap hog from day one! LOL. She loves EVERYONE!
She also taught us a trick! She loves to play fetch! I never knew cats played fetch, but I was wrapping some Christmas gifts one night and Priscilla just sat and watched intently as I "played" with the paper. Eventually I rolled a piece up into a ball and kinda tossed it across the room into what was becoming my garbage pile. Much to my surprise she chased the ball of paper, picked it up in her mouth by the smallest possible edge and proudly carried it back to me and gently laid it down, then just stared into my eyes like she was proud of what she did. Now, I've played fetch with dogs before, but never heard of cats playing fetch, but I picked up the paper ball and threw it again and she went after it again and brought it back to me and dropped it right in front of me. I was so happy! It was communication!
Now we play fetch every day and she loves it! She will only play with a paper ball, no other toys have the same effect on her. She has other toys that she plays with, but they are NOT fetch toys. LOL I've attached a short video to share. I'm so very glad we came to the Humane Society! We Love Priscilla (Wishes).
