Polly Puddles

Polly Puddles came to HSHA on February 23. It was a cold, rainy day and she was found as a stray in one of the worst areas of Harrisburg City. As a young seven month old pit bull terrier mix, Polly was full of energy and personality. Her rough start on the streets didn’t break her spirit. In need of an adopter willing to teach her basic obedience and manners as well as provide regular exercise would be necessary. On April 8 Polly’s dream came true and she landed a FURever home of her own.

On April 19 we received an updated from sweet Polly Puddle’s adopter, Brittney. She wrote, “Just wanted to let you guys know that Polly is doing awesome at home! She is almost completely house broken, crate training was a breeze, the puppy ‘mouthiness’ has declined immensely, and from the photo you can see her and Max are officially BFFs!! Thank you so much for what you all have done for her, we love her so much.”

Thank you Brittney for opening your home and heart to this sweet young girl. We are so happy to hear about the progress and positive changes Ms. Polly Puddles is making with your as her owner.
