5K Run/Walk for the Animals

The 19th Annual 5K Run/Walk for the Animals was a raging success despite the dreary weather. The event was held at Wildwood Park and Olewine Nature Center in Harrisburg on May 7. This family and dog friendly event had something for everyone, and all the proceeds benefited more than 500 homeless pets at the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area. A total of more than $43,324.23 was raised.
