5K Run/Walk for the Animals

20th Annual 5K Run/Walk for the Animals | Wildwood Park | May 6

This family and dog friendly event has something for everyone, and all proceeds benefit the homeless pets at the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, Inc. (HSHA). This event provides an opportunity for local corporations/businesses to show their support by forming teams, providing sponsorships or being a vendor at the event.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the Run/Walk starts at 10 a.m.

In addition, there will be a Vaccination/Microchipping Clinic on site from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. as well.

At the request of the animals at the shelter a minimum fundraising total of $40 is required by all participants. Those that raise $75 or more will receive a free event t-shirt.

IN HONOR OF YARD SIGNS

Does your pet display unconditional love? Is your pet your best friend? Or are you grieving the recent loss of a pet? At this year’s 5K Walk/Run for the Animals participants will once again have the opportunity to honor their pet by purchasing a yard sign that will be displayed along the course. Consider sending in a picture (non-returnable) of your beloved pet to be displayed on the sign as well. For only $10 display the name of your furry family member(s). Signs can be pre-purchased or bought the day of the event at registration.

Click here to download a yard sign reservation form and for payment instructions.
