The Humane Society of Harrisburg Area's (HSHA) 18th Annual 5K Run/Walk for the Animals at Wildwood Park and Olewine Nature Center in Harrisburg was a complete success.
This family-friendly event attracted more than 350 participants of various demographics from across Central Pennsylvania. Several local corporations/businesses showed their support by forming teams as well. The funds raised by all participants hit a record breaking total of $39,665.61. So a very big THANK YOU to everyone who participated. From sponsors, to donors, and runners everyone's support made a huge difference. Now, we gear up for an even better 5K in 2016 with more vendors, new acitivites, and exciting entertainment. Stay tuned for further details.
